LOCATION: 212 Raritan Avenue @ the Highland Park Farmer’s Market
TIME: 5:00 PM. Pies need to be in by 5:15 PM. They will not be accepted after that.

The contest is free to enter.

Amateur bakers are invited to the Highland Park Farmers Market to compete by bringing their best berry pie. You are required to share your recipe. The winning recipe will be shared with the public. Pies without recipes will not be accepted. You may bring your recipe in hard copy instead of submitting it digitally.

If you’re using a reusable dish, use a sticker (or masking tape) listing your name and phone number ON THE BOTTOM of the dish. All dishes will be available for pick-up right after the contest.

Please bring pies sufficiently covered or in a closed container. Pie available for consumption to the general public after judging.

No canned fillings or pre-made crusts are allowed. Pies will be judged on crusts, appearance and filling. Pie must be a 9 inch diameter or equivalent.

Judges will include Mayor Gayle, a Culinary Expert from the Blue Restaurant, and the Owner of Bridge Restaurant. Anticipate 3 - 5 judges.

The prize will be a Farmers Market Tote filled with an item from each vendor.
