Main Street organizes, sponsors and hosts a number of events throughout the year that showcase the downtown and the community at large. The following list details Main Street Highland Park's principle events.
Each May, Main Street sponsors a Planting Day along Raritan Avenue.
Main Street staff manages the Downtown Farmers Market,
which marked its 11th year in 2007. In 2008, the Farmer’s Market will start earlier in the year (June 13) and end the 2nd or 3rd Friday of November.
Random Acts of Fun is a Main Street-Merchant partnership
of weekly block parties throughout the summer.
The Highland Park Art Festival highlights the local creative community.
Autumn in the Park features hay rides and street entertainment throughout the Borough.
Holidays in the Park Shopping Extravaganza showcases the breadth and quality of goods available in Highland Park.
