Volunteer Appreciation!

Main Street Highland Park would like to thank the many volunteers who have helped organize and run all of this year’s events. The Random Acts of Fun kick-off this Thursday (6/25), from 5:00 to 8:00 pm seems a particularly appropriate time to do so. (And if you would like to participate in the Talent Show, contact either Main Street (732.828.8444) or stop by Through the Mooongate gifts.)  You’ve earned some recognition.

And as part of that recognition, anyone wearing a Main Street Highland Park T- Shirt, whether it’s for Planting Day or the HP-5K Race in Honor of Riki Jacobs may sign up to win one of three prizes being offered by Over the Moon Toys, Through the Moongate Gifts and Unity Bank. Only volunteers (or HP-5K runners), and only those who are wearing their shirts on Thursday night at Random Acts are eligible.

The sign-up and prize drawing will take place at Robert’s Florals at about 7 p.m. and will be in additionto the normal Passport to Fun drawing we do as part of the Random Acts, which is of course open to all who participate.

Main Street ’s community events could not have been so successful without the passion and commitment of our volunteers. We look forward to seeing everyone at Random Acts! Wear your T-shirts!
