Wednesdays, March 5-26: The following weekly trips are sponsored by the Senior/Youth Center. All trips depart from the Center on Wednesdays at 12:45 PM. For more information, call (732) 819-0052.
(Wed) March 5: Wal-Mart (North Brunswick)/Panera Bread/Barnes & Noble
Thursday, March 6: The Department on Aging is presenting a trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show on Thursday, March 6 from 9 AM-5 PM. Admission is $24, payable at the show. Transportation is free. From the Roaring 20’s to the New Orleans’ French Quarter, the 2008 Flower Show will inspire people to jazz it up! Jazz It Up will present walled courtyards, cast iron balconies, fountains, canals, and of course, beautiful flowers and landscapes, set to the music of great jazz legends! Fridays, March 7, 14, and 28 and Thursday, March 20: The AARP is offering seniors free tax assistance from 9-12 on all days. You must bring W2s and 1099s, tax booklets, copies of last year’s forms, and a completed intake form available at the Senior Center. Advance sign up is required. Call (732) 819-0052 to register.
