Library has events throughout February
February 1-Friday, February 29: THE HIGHLAND PARK Public Library, 31 N. Fifth Ave., will display "Jersey Photos: Life in the Garden State" through February. Highland Park resident Grant Saff, an associate professor in the department of Economics and Geography at Hofstra University, has taken many photos of the borough and other New Jersey locales. Photos include little league players behind the mesh of chain-link fence; a Memorial Day parade with a main street lined with lawn chairs; and gleeful children flying through the air in Donaldson Park. His photos have a timeless quality that celebrates the small-town feel of Highland Park and childhood days.
