Ten Thousand Villages is Featuring 25% OFF everything in the store

All month long:

Unity Bank is offering a fee-free VISA card promotion. Forget to get that special person a gift? How about a VISA gift card! There is no fee to purchase this holiday card, and it is a perfect stocking stuffer or Hanukkah gift.

White Lotus Home will continue to have the Highland Park Artist Collective Holiday Store, which includes pocket-friendly art prices that would make great holiday gifts.

Zeina Mediterranean Grill is offering several holiday specials, including a $22 prix fixe dinner menu on Sunday-Friday, bellydance performances every Saturday evening, and happy hour every day from 5-7PM. Print this out and bring it in to get an early bird special of 25% off from 4-6PM (not to be combined with prix fixe) or bring in a receipt from any individually-owned local merchant to get 20% off your meal (not to be combined with prix fixe). Zeina's is now also offering a full bar and specialty drinks!

Roberts Florals is beautifully decorated for the holidays and is full of a variety of gift options and stocking stuffers. Many items are $15 or under, including handmade dreidels, wreaths, candles, beautiful ornaments, Christmas decor, candles, and seasonal plants. Don't forget to book your centerpiece orders early! Stop in anytime through December 23 and enter to win a Christmas gift/ornament basket!

Make Me Take Me, a great DIY personalized gifts store, is now featuring paint your own necklace, perfect for the holiday gift-giving season!

816 Sports is offering a holiday sale through the end of the year with discounts on every item in the store! All stocked Asics and New Balance sneakers are 25% off, summer sportswear is 40% off, and al other items are 15% off. Additionally, gift cards are available at both 816 Sports and Studio 808. They make a great holiday gift for family and friends, and a gift card for gym membership is perfect for keeping New Year's resolutions!

Ten Thousand Villages now has extended hours every day of the week during the holiday season.

PJ's Coffee offers PJ's gift cards as the perfect holiday gift, and 10% off cases of whole bean coffees. Orders placed by Saturdays will receive delivery of the freshest roasts the following Thursday.

Carvel is offering a tasty special every day of the week during the holiday season! Daily specials include buying one sundae dasher, carvelanche, classic sundae, arctice blender, or banana barge treat and getting a second either free or for only $1.99.

Nighthawk Books will be showing the Lord of the Rings Trilogy through the month of December on every Saturday and Sunday at 8PM.

Aposto is offering delicious new additions to their menu in celebration of the holidays. Dine on their homemade vegetarian lasagna, homemade spinach ravioli, and homemade special Italian desserts.

White Lotus Home is continuing their popular Green Wednesdays, so stop in for special promotions! Other participating businesses include Through the Moongate, Over the Moon Toys, Eden Organix, Ten Thousand Villages, Tete, and Zeina.

 

Every Thursday:

Highland Park is open late on Thursdays for Late Night Date Night. Enjoy delicious late night dining and shopping at participating locations, which include Tete, Aposto, Through the Moongate, and Over the Moon ToysEnjoy a $22 prix fixe dinner at Zeina Mediterranean Grill. Roberts Florals will be offering a 10% discount on in store purchases from 6-8PM every Thursday. Also from 6-8PM every Thursday, PJ's Coffee is offering a vegetarian-lovers' special, including delicious dinners, desserts, and beverages.

 

 

December 1-20- Anna’s Health Food Center is celebrating its 21st Anniversary Sale with 15-50% off over a dozen select brands!

December 5-19- Nighthawk Books is featuring an art exhibit entitled “The Slow Approach” by local artist Koenraad Seghers, who placed first in this year’s Arts in the Park painting category! The opening reception will be on December 5 from 2-4PM, and the exhibit will run through the 19th. Visit www.koerie.com for more information about the artist and his work.

December 5- Highland Spark will be celebrating its Grand Opening at 208 Raritan Avenue, featuring unique hand made gifts, jewelry art classes, and craft workshops.

December 8- Enjoy live traditional Irish music by the local band, Brosna, at Nighthawk Books at 8PM.

December 9- Join in a Folk Circle of Song at Nighthawk Books at 8PM.

December 11- Lotus Studios is hosting a family-friendly Jazz on the Banks Christmas Concert with The Scarlet Knights Jazz Trombones. Also appearing will be master storyteller, Gerry Fierst (with live musical accompaniment), and a very special guests. Doors open at 7pm and the show begins at 8PM. December 18- Soma Center is hosting a Holiday Open House. Live music and embodied meditation with Bobbie Ellis-Bianculli and John Bianculli begins at 11:15AM, followed by the open house from 1-5PM, featuring live music, free demo classes in Soma yoga, creative movement for adults and kids, meditation and breathing for stress relief, massage samplers, and warm goodies.

December 18- The Highland Park Community Choir will perform at the Reformed Church at 8PM. Tickets are $15/regular and $10/students and seniors.

December 31- Zeina Mediterranean Grill is hosting a New Year's Eve party from 9PM-2AM. The $95 five-course prix fixe meal includes delicious special dishes, champagne toast, music, and belly dancing performances.
