Snow Day Movie Marathon at Nighthawk Books!
Snow Day will be Movie Day, part 2 at Nighthawk Books.
Once you've dug out of the snow, come to Nighthawk Books for a chance to pick out a good book, drink a cup of nice hot coffee, and take in our second Snow Day Movie Marathon.
At 1 p.m., today's marathon begins with The Little Mermaid, one of the most popular of all Walt Disney films.
At 3 p.m., take flight with Kiki's Delivery Service, Hayao Miyazaki's charming story of a young witch learning to make her way in a new city.
At 5 p.m. we begin a swashbuckling double feature: Richard Lester's The Three Musketeers, followed at 7 p.m. by its sequel, The Four Musketeers. Great swordplay, gorgeous cinematography, and an all-star cast including Oliver Reed, Michael York, Raquel Welch and, as Cardinal Richelieu, Charlton Heston.
The mood shifts at 9 p.m. with Nashville, Robert Altman's barbed look at the country music capital of the world.
