New Businesses on Main Street |

For the month of October, Robert’s Florals, 114 Raritan Ave., is offering a bouquet of pink carnations for $14.95, the proceeds of which will be donated to help breast cancer patients. The bouquet is arranged artfully in a vase, with a pink ribbon tied around it. Money from the sales will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a non-profit organization that financially assists breast cancer patients. The Seventh Annual Autumn in the Park festival will take place this coming Thursday, October 23 from 6-9 p.m. This year will feature live music on every block, promotions and contests at local businesses, shopping and dining until late in the evening, and chances to win great prizes. There will be no carriage rides this year, but the popular feature should be back next year. |
