Arts in the Park Art Festival |

Two new businesses along Raritan Avenue have Highland Park pedigrees: Peache Pot, at 234 Raritan Avenue, which opened its doors last week and Michael Bianc, which will open next month at 324 Raritan both have home-grown Highland Park entrepeneurs at the helm. Nora Weinberg of Peache Pot went to Yellow Brick Road, Irving and Bartle schools. Dorelle Russ is a Highland Park High School graduate (her son is now at Irving) and her partner, Rassan Settles' mother is a Highland Park teacher. Peache Pot and Michael Bianc join the new .Park Eye Center, which opened in its new location this past month on North 3rd Avenue, and Ofi Yofi, which opened its new location at 75 Raritan. More than 8,000 art lovers are expected at the 4th Annual Arts in the Park. A record number of artists will be on hand when Main Street Highland Park holds its fourth-annual “Arts in the Park” festival on Sunday, September 21 on Raritan Avenue in downtown Highland Park. |

Massage Matters is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Tavares began seeing customers in her home office in 1998, which she operated out of for six years. Her client base grew over the years as she expanded into different types of massage therapy, including: therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, cancer patient massage and pregnancy massage. She now draws clients from Highland Park, Edison, Metuchen, New Brunswick, East Brunswick, more... |

Highland Park's Townwide Garage Sale takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 27 & 28. As in years past, this townwide event is being sponsored and coordinated by Century 21/J.J. Laufer.
