Park Eye Center Set Sights on New Storefront

Cheesemaker Joins Farmers Market

Dr. Michael Schwartz and Dr. Chani Miller recently moved their thriving optometry practice, Park Eye Center, to 18 No. 3rd Ave. They left their location of more than 20 years, 320 Raritan Ave., because their practice was growing rapidly and the space available to accommodate patients wasn’t growing with it. “We outgrew our location,” said Amy Frost, office manager of Park Eye Center. .

The Highland Park Farmer’s Market is expanding once again. This year, the Farmer’s Market is proud to introduce organic gourmet cheeses from Cherry Grove Farm of Lawrenceville. Saturdays in September, Ten Thousand Villages has two specials, the first, "One Scrumptious Chocolate Celebration" on Saturday, September 6, celebrates World Chocolate Day; and the second, Saturday, September 13, is a fundraiser for the Highland Park Food Pantry, with 15% of sales going to the Food Pantry. "Summers are hard for food pantries and so this September fund-raiser is especially welcome," said food pantry coordinator Beth Leech.  "The tough economy means that we are serving more families than ever."
