Random Acts of Fun

Eden Organix, a full-service spa and organic products store, is bringing its brand of environmentally-friendly leisure and luxury to downtown Highland Park.
Owner Valerie Mason-Robinson opened Eden Organix, 215 Raritan Avenue, during Random Acts of Fun on June 26. The store features a “green” spa that uses beauty and relaxation products that have little to no impact on the environment. An attached organic products shop will sell environmentally-friendly clothing, accessories, make-up handbags and more.

Random Acts Relives the 1970’s. Classic Car Show and Human Car Wash Round Out Final Main Street Event of Summer. Come on down to Raritan Avenue on Thursday, July 10, for Main Street Highland Park’s “The Seventies Return” Random Acts of Fun block party, between Adelaide and Second Avenues, from 5 to 8 p.m.
“This is our final Random Acts of Fun of the year, so we are pulling out all the stops to make sure it is a great event,” said James McCrone, project director of Main Street Highland Park. “There will be something for every member of the family to enjoy.”
The last Random Acts had a huge turnout; one of the features, the Fashion Show was a gret success, and featured clothes and accessories from Raspberry Beret, Centerpiece, Through the Moongate and Ten Thousand Villages. more...
